We’ve got a soft spot for spider booms because they can squeeze through places where a standard boom lift won’t fit. The IMER 13 SA (13m), for example, is compact enough to get through doorways and narrow sites, then extends up to 13 meters with 360° turret rotation once you’re in position. The basket rotates ±75° as well for precise positioning.
The hydraulically adjustable track width is one of those features you don’t think about until you need it. With all three models, you can narrow the tracks to fit through a gap, then widen them back out for stability on rough ground. This saves a lot of time and takes the guesswork out of whether it’ll squeeze through a narrow space.

Spider booms are renowned for their minimal outrigger footprint, and the IMER range is no exception. You can set up in spaces where traditional booms wouldn’t stand a chance, like shopping centres, heritage sites, narrow courtyards, and residential driveways. Anywhere access is limited, but height is required.
The aluminium platforms give you room for two operators plus tools, with 230V power outlets built in. Everything travels up with you.
The rubber track system handles indoor and outdoor applications without swapping machines. Polished floors, grass, gravel, and rough terrain – they transition from one surface to the next without marking or damaging them. The double-speed traction provides precision indoors and faster movement outside when you need it.
The IMER 15 DA Pro (15m) and IMER 19 SA (19m) run on lithium batteries with a 48V AC electric motor. This means zero emissions, which is essential for indoor work or anywhere you don’t want diesel fumes hanging around. But the real benefit of lithium is consistency. The machine performs the same whether the battery’s at 80% or 100%, with no power drop-off halfway through the day.
Better yet, instead of sitting around waiting for it to charge, you can plug it into mains power and keep working while it charges.
